I do not know where this – silver – Thor’s hammer was found, but it comes from a German collection.

An extremely wise viking smith foresaw us, unworthy people in modern times, deliberating for ages if this indeed is a hammer (sigh…) .. well .. is the pope catholic ?  Maybe we must mark our modern hammers this way also.. one can never know.. 😉 Of course there is a danger.. that in the year 3000 A.D. deo volente we call this a Thor’s hammer…
